GSN Radio Closes Shop Today, November 13th
Bad news today. GSN Radio is unfortunately saying goodbye tomorrow. The rumor has been out for a while but apparently executives at the network thought giving people a 12 hour warning was appropriate, so there we go. Well in respect they were hard working on their Muppet-hosted game. Today is your last chance to play along with hosts Bob Goen and Marianne Curan and win some cash by listening to internet radio and dialing them. Be sure to listen, it should be a fun show. GSN Radio’s “Blast of Cash” Begins Next Week
I just wanted to give all of you GSN Radio fans, which a large amount of you should be, a heads up and a reminder about certain goings-on next week. The program broadcasted from 1:00PM ET to 5:00PM ET every weekday and hosted by Bob Goen and Marianne Curan will kick off its "Blast of Cash" starting Monday, September 14th. The Blast of Cash increases the prize of games dramatically. Some of the marquis games, like the Birthday Game or the $1,000 Minute will up the top prize to a large $10,000. You have to go through a whole casting process, with low odds of even making it on the show let alone winning, to win that much on most shows. GSN Radio Turns One Today
Edit: I forgot that I wanted to repost my interview with Bob Goen and Marianne Curan from a few months back. If you'd like to listen, click here and enjoy. If you're around your computer today definitely take a listen to our often-pimped favorite GSN Radio. GSN Radio feels like it's neglected by the network constantly but it's been just about unanimously praised. Today' a very special day, as the show celebrates its first anniversary. I repeatedly said over the course of months that it's the best thing GSN's done in an unbelievably long time and it still holds true. If you aren't listening, I'm not sure why not. Bob Goen in a Dress on GSN Radio
Listening to GSN Radio? You've been really missing out if you haven't. Again, it's the best thing the network's done in ages. Hosts Bob Goen and Marianne Curan are great and hysterical. Yesterday you missed a special episode if you weren't listening for some reason (and I don't know why you aren't; it's a free easy shot at decent money. A lot of readers here have won, haven't they?). The game was Battle of the Sexes, and a bet was placed between the hosts. Bob Goen lost, and Marianne Curan (his wife) brought out a lovely green dress for him to wear for the rest of the broadcast. It was unbelievably hysterical. I don't know why, but I heard a song a while ago that could be Bob's nickname for this crossdressing: Trixie Delicious.
