UK Weekend Replay: All or Nothing on The Cube

Followers of this website might have read my article a fortnight ago where I asked whether The Cube has Become Harder to Win? It wasn't conclusive as we were only three shows into the latest series but many of the views from posters agreed the show has become harder on the basis the first games were set at a higher difficulty, and the new games introduced were harder. Forcing contestants to waste numerous lives and their Simplify early on. The clip we have for you is taken from last Sunday's episode. We have seen the youngest contestant on the show, Isaac being defeated by The Cube. Can the second contestant, Karen win £50,000 by completing Construction. She has two lives and a Trial Run remaining. [stream provider=video flv=x:/www.fl

Shooting Stars Does The Cube Thumbnail

Shooting Stars Does The Cube

To celebrate the return of The Cube this evening, we have a special treat. When game shows become popular, other shows make fun of it. The Cube has seen Harry Hill calling it The Cuboid as it doesn't look like a cube when seen on television. While BBC Radio 1 DJ, Greg James has created The Square. Which even featured a contestant called Philip Schofield. Comedy duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer have been running the celebrity quiz Shooting Stars for many years. With the show being off air in the early 2000s. It was brought back in 2009. The latest series featured their take on The Cube where Jake Wood from Eastenders tries to win the star prize. Can he throw a severed head into a bucket? It might sound so simple but nothing is simple in Th

McFly’s Tom Fletcher Plays for £50,000 on “The Cube” Thumbnail

McFly’s Tom Fletcher Plays for £50,000 on “The Cube”

ITV's The Cube came back for a special episode this past weekend.  A member of the band McFly, Tom Fletcher, stepped inside The Cube and played for charity.  For essentially most of America who has no idea who they are, from what I gather, McFly seems a bit like the Jonas Brothers of England.  They were also on our equivalent, Minute to Win It, and we saw how that went over.  Having McFly on The Cube went over pretty much the same there.  However, it was a great episode and in our constant desire to shove this amazing show down your throat we have to show you some.  Click here to see Tom play the incredibly hard "Sidetrack" for £50,000.  Will he do it, or will he lose all the charity's money?

German Weekend Replay: The Cube Thumbnail

German Weekend Replay: The Cube

A special Weekend Replay for this weekend as we are featuring the German version of the popular UK game show, The Cube. It was annouced earlier this year that the major broadcaster, RTL, who also airs their own local version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Pop Idol has picked up the local rights to produce The Cube. Rather than build their own cube set in Germany, they decided to use the UK set and production team at Fountian Studios in Wembley, London. The format is exactly the same to the original version, simply complete seven games with nine lives to win £250,000, or €250,000 in the German's case. Taken from last night's premiere (Friday), the clip we had features contestant Kerstin Smith who have just won €20,000 by complet
