ABC’s “Shark Tank” Returns for New Season on January 20th
One of our favorites, the critically acclaimed ABC reality show Shark Tank, will return for a new series of episodes starting January 20th at 8:00PM ET. Yet again various entrepreneurs with big hopes and dreams will come before the Sharks, all self made millionaires in various forms of business, asking for money to fuel their own ideas. Over $6.2 million is going to be offered through the 13 episodes of the season. Returning to the show are the regular Sharks real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion and branding expert Daymond John and venture capitalist Kevin O'Leary. ABC's always been great with trying new game and reality shows the past couple years, and they'll continue to do so in 2011. In addition to Wipeout, the network has one returning show and one brand new one to enjoy. The new show is a competition chase series called Take the Money and Run. The team behind shows like The Amazing Race and CSI produce this six episode series debuting Thursday, April 14th, at 8:00PM ET. Shark Tank is also returning on March 25th. Nothing of any real notice is going on right now but we did manage to find a few small news pieces to touch upon. Everyone was all excited for Jeopardy! champion Roger Craig after winning a record $77,000 in one game. However, sadly, his journey to become the next Ken Jennings, which many seemed to be really hoping for, came to an end. Then, Don't Forget The Lyrics! debuted this past Monday.According to PIFeedback.com, it's averaged to a .4 rating. Finally, More information on season two of ABC's Shark Tank is coming out. We already discussed Jeff Foxworthy joining the panel for some reason I'm not exactly sure of for three episodes. They are getting another guest panelist which makes more sense. We're going to play a little bit of good news/bad news. The good news: ABC's critically lauded reality show Shark Tank has, shockingly, been renewed for another season. I say shockingly because despite the praise it got ratings ranging from mediocre to bad. It was never certain to come back and it was more of a wait-and-see thing each time. We've waited, and now we'll see some new Shark Tank in 2011. The relatively bad news: Jeff Foxworthy will be joining for at least three episodes. Read on for all the information.

We've been talking a lot about Who Wants to be a Millionaire's return on August 9th, but there's another show airing after that which deserves to be discussed. It's a Japanese/British import called Shark Tank. If you get BBC America you may have seen it on there before as Dragon's Den. I really don't know what to describe this show. It's not really a complete game show, it's not really a complete reality show, it's not really a complete drama. It's definitely unscripted. It's just a mix of all of them. I wasn't a fan of Dragon's Den for some reason.
