The ad campaign looks really good. If GSN put the same effort into that as with their other ads, then they might actually pull in some new viewers. As of now, their presentation blows. Those logos that change every day now just look awful.
Seriously, the current state of their marketing department is terrible. They need new ad campaigns like this.
Wow. I’m amazed people actually like the damn ad. I personally would like to strangle the people who came up with this one, but apparently I’m the only free thinker of this bunch :P
I think he’ll do a great job as well. Does anyone remember his last hosting gig, Your Big Break (he hosted the second season of that show btw)? I did, and he did great, too bad it got cancelled after that season. My prediction? Catch 21 will be a hit, in fact, I will go as far as to say it’ll be the next Lingo. and Measles, I disagree. That summer promo thing GSN doing is extremely gay, but, then again, they must don’t have enough gay people watching.
Love all the hostility towards me…keep it coming, sheep. Next time you guys might want to think for yourselves instead of just going along with everything you see. Trust me, I’m enjoying seeing you people flip your lids the moment someone comes along with something that you guys just can’t take. Just confirms my suspicions that you’re all sheep and don’t have a free thinking bone in your collective bodies.
Now for something that’s actually constructive (unlike all of your comments for this cockamamie campaign), when it comes to all the support for the campaign, I’m just amazed. How can something so lame be so effective?
Um, what’s measle’s deal? His comments make no sense. he calls us sheep for liking the ad. sorry for not being such an anti-conformist. (lmao, this guy kills me)
compared to past gsn ads, this is a welcome change. i just think that the network needs to revamp its look.
It’s not the best campaign, in fact, GSN just needs to go back to the drawing board. I understand that it’s summertime and they went with that, but, do something different.

I think he said “my personality” about 50 times in that video.

I really like what I see! I think he can pull this off, and we are going to have a solid show here!

I like Alfonso, I think he’ll be fine in the role.
Also, KILL THE BEACH AD CAMPAIGN! It has “Liberace Gay” written all over it. Anyone who can’t see that is obviously an idiot.

The promo is great, it’s fun and makes me want to watch it. Nice graphics too!
I don’t know what crawled up Measles’ craw. “Liberace Gay”? That doesn’t even make any sense. “Free Thinker” my arse.

They’re not being hostile, Measles- they just don’t see your logic, which in not so many words… sucks.
It’s not the best campaign, but it’ll do here.
