BuzzerVision: “Head Games”

Have you been watching the new Science Channel game show Head Games hosted by the incredibly entertaining Greg Proops?  If not, you’re missing out.  It’s a lot of fun.  We’re doing an interview with Greg on Tuesday so be ready for that.  You probably won’t have me more excited to do an interview ever.  However, to hold you over, Science Channel sent us some clips from Head Games to show you all and hopefully win you over.

Have you watched it yet?  What do you think?  It’s definitely won me over.

I saw it, the set looks awesome. It's a standard "prediction" game show, but Greg Proops is hilarious, and I am glad they got some pretty funny contestants to play the game.

This show would have been better as a Panel Game, but considering the United States can't grasp that genre, this is the next best thing. I think Mr. Davis would do well on that show

I'd love to watch the episodes I've missed. Anyone know if/where I can watch the show online? I've looked on the science channel website, and tv.com.

  • Chris says:

Would somebody tell me just how they show the scores, as well as the text under the video screen? I'm curious.

I kinda wondered about that too. That looks very cool.

I like the show it looks really good, but unlike Jordan, I don't like the set (I have extreme aracnaphobia, or however u spell it).

I was gonna watch it last Saturday, but I was too occupied with "Morons from Space". "sigh" If only I had the Science Channel elsewhere in the house other than the living room, then maybe I'll consider it. But, being that it's on a digital cable channel makes it seem unlikely right now.

I think the show is very educational and interesting, but I have big problem with how the scoring system is being ran. In the first 2 rounds the questions are worth $100 and $200. In the third round however the prediction question are worth $500 and the memory questions are still worth $100. Shouldn't they double the money on 3rd memory round? Finally the final round each is worth $300. That is less than the 3rd round predction question. I think the final round should be $500 as well

I've been wondering about the scoreboard myself as well… my first thought was "projector", but if you notice – when Greg walks in front of them (as he likes to do), the light doesn't shine on him. That means it must be internally lit, so maybe it's an internal projector?

I have nothing against Greg hosting, but I think Bill Nye the Science Guy would've been the perfect "go to" host for this show.
