This one came out of no where. NBC will be taping a daytime edition of “Deal or No Deal” on MONDAY, October 23rd, according to TVTix. This is only for one day, so I’m guessing these are pilots. The host is Aresnio Hall. They state the game is different than the primetime version. Please look at this page. I would like everyone to notice one thing. Click the first link to be an audience member, but please click both links. There is something extremely interesting
I might be really reading way too far into this, but look at the facts. Notice the icons on the schedule page for Jeopardy and Wheel, both are syndicated. They are money bags. Notice the icon for Daytime Deal or No Deal: It’s the NBC logo. No where does it say this is syndication: they say this is daytime. Also, it is known that NBC is considering getting the 10AM-11AM hour back. Early talks are for the 4th hour of “Today”, but “Deal or No Deal” (and hell, “1 vs. 100″ could also) fit this time slot nicely. Could this be the return of the daytime game show? Stay tuned for news as it comes in.
I would like to note this: the breaking news is the fact that Daytime Deal or No Deal is taping Monday. It’s a rumor about the NBC daytime thing, so please take that as a rumor and that alone. Last thing I need is pissed off people.
NOTE: If you live in LA and are planning on going this, I urge you to EMAIL ME, leave a comment, or get ahold of me in the ways listed on the About Buzzer page.

I highly doubt this is for NBC Daytime. This is most likely going into syndication.

I think you are reading too much into this, as if you scroll down further you’ll see that some of the Price is Right-wish list only tickets also have that same moneybag next to the name.

I wish NBC would bring back daytime game shows. Aresnio Hall hosting the daytime version will be interesting to watch.

total guess at this point, If a daytime series comes out, I’m predicting there will not be a $1,000,000 grand prize, I’m gonna guess $250,000.

Would be great if this were for daytime…I know NBC flirted with the idea of reviving a daytime block right after Millionaire took off.
Would be even greater if that possible Temptation classified from a few weeks ago could lead to a new daytime version.
I can dream, can’t I? ;-)

Arsenio Hall? That would be interesting to watch. I never would have thought of him to host. Let’s just hope he doesn’t become another George Gray. We all remember how daytime Link went down in flames.

Richard: “He’s DOUBLING THE OFFER!!!!!!!”
Ummmm, no.
Arsenio will make the show his own, no doubt; he’s a smooth talker.
