Bravo is getting back into the game show business by ordering a pilot for a new psychological game show called Paycheck. The show revolves around seven contestants identifying their opponent’s salaries. Contestants that can do this win $25,000. Clues will be given to further them along based on pop culture, observations about their opponents, surprising and revealing “factoids” about the others, and their own intuition. Bravo’s only popular game show is Celebrity Poker Showdown which is apparently and regretfully canceled, although they did air one episode of Celebrity Pool. Paycheck is based on a UK format, so our British friends, you apparently have a pilot.
Are US producers just saying that things are based off of a UK format just to get more attention now? I could have a friend in Uganda that helps me make a format. If I do, I’m saying that it’s a new exciting format from Uganda.

I doubt it, but I suppose it’s possible it was bought off paper from a UK creative team. If I was pushed to guess, I’d say Mast Media who have previous form in the US.

Win My Wage is a 45-minute show which gives a contestant the opportunity to win the salary of one of eight panel members, ranging from a maggot farmer to an internet millionaire with incomes of between £3,500 and £100,000. No word on the Bravo US run, but it wasn’t announced during the upfronts so I wouldn’t be expecting it soon. [...]
