Maybe this is why the top prize is $3 million for this episode only (i.e., join the Brad Rutter club).

You gave a great example of why the One has the advantage: the roulette question. If you're in the Mob, you have about five seconds to draw a mental picture of a roulette felt, see what color the number 1 is, and punch the button corresponding to your choice. Not confident? Just pick an answer and cross your fingers. If you're the One, you have all the time you could possibly need to try and draw that mental picture.

It's not like Brad Rutter knows everything. Though he ranked as high as Ken Jennings brightness, he was just quicker at the buzzer. He has the same amount of chance to be eliminated. Let's not forget that smarty-pants John Carpenter aint as smart as we think and Ken doesn't know casino games. Brad might get a question wrong about... cartoons.

I dunno. Brad could get hit with another roulette question.

How do you say that the nature of the questions favours the One? The only advantage I see the One has would be the not-lifelines. Otherwise you could have any Mob member switch places with the One and their track record would be the same.

Seeing him in the mob would make damned sure I'd take the money over the mob the moment I'd dodged the second question. That said, you're right to point out the nature of the questions *really* favours the One over the Mob.
