“Bingo America” with Richard Karn Starts Tonight at 6:30PM ET on GSN
Today’s a good day for all the Bingo America fans reading. The new season of the popular GSN original starts today at a new time of 6:30PM ET. New hosts as well. Instead of Patrick Duffy, this season we get former Family Feud host Richard Karn as well as new co-host Diane Mizota. I doubt I had much to do with the new end game, but I’m going to say, for the sake of my own ego, that my constant nagging of how much the old one sucked brought on a much better one. Watch out for the all new end game today which involves actual risk. Outstanding. There’s also a lot more audience interaction this season. Both with a new audience game, and you at home.
You can still print out your cards at GSN.com/bingo or go the partner site at MSNgames.com so no crashing GSN’s website this year at least. Three boards are on each card, and you can print 10 per page. If you get a Bingo at home, you just instantly won $50. Be sure to play on Wednesdays, because you win $250 with each Bingo then! GSN also has an online Bingo America game you can play as well, where if you get a Bingo you win $25. Lots of money going around. You don’t have to pay anything to play tonight, so why not join in and take a chance at winning some money, no strings attached? We had a lot of winners from BuzzerBlog, and I want to see even more this season as Bingo America season two debuts tonight at 6:30PM ET on GSN. Be sure to tell us what you think of the new season.

Count me in, sounds good (however as I’ve got from the end game I have misgivings), but we’ll leave them until the show airs at least.
I just finished playing and watching. Even though I didn’t win for the millionth time, I had a lot of fun while doing so. I played with my grandma, and we even had more fun. I don’t know how many times I said “f***ot number” for all the numbers that were called that were close to the numbers I needed for bingo. Here are my thoughts of the show.
Main Game
Same old main game, but with the audience game mixed in. I loved how Diane actually paid the winning audience members with the $25 (wonder if the money she was giving was real). It actually seemed more exciting and inviting than the old Patrick Duffy version. Though I didn’t like Karen; she was stupid as hell when the game was on the line for her, and myself.
Bonus Game
The new game kills over the old one. Sure, it’s GSN-budget money, but it sure feels like a lot. And, I like how you can win the $100K on the push of the button (if you make it through the board by picking a number from each letter [B I N G O] that has money behind it and not a wrecking ball [which would wipe out your winnings and end the game], you can play for the $100K, where if you press the button, and one of the numbers you picked out comes out of the hopper, you win the $100,000!!!). It feels like the lottery.
Set
A lot of the same pieces, but put into a newer, brighter composition than Season 1. Better construction, and upbeat music.
Hosts
Sure, Richard Karn is Richard Karn, but he wasn’t a robot like Patrick Duffy telling you to mark off the numbers after every number was called. Diane was parsecs better than Crystal, and was actually involved in the show.
Overall, the show gets an 9/10 (I would give it 10, but I didn’t win).
The show moved a lot better, Karn wasnt robotic with his 365-bazillion pleas to go to gsn.com/bingo and play, and the music was trying to make the idea of bingo “more hip”.
For those who didnt catch the bonus round rules
20 wrecking balls you want to avoid
0 in the B row (15/15 safe)
1 in the I row (14/15 safe)
3 in the N row (12/15 safe)
6 in the G row (9/15 safe)
10 in the O row (5/15 safe)
Any wrecking ball eliminates ALL PRIZE money from the bonus round.
IF you clear the five, you get a 5 in 75 shot at the $100k.
Now instead of players winning around $4-$8k a show, they paying out about $1.5k in prize money. GSN found a way to give out even less.
I just played the online game. It feels like I’m right in front of the TV! Why? Because I never win!!
I’m sensing only one gigantic problem with the $100,000 bonus. Or maybe it got fixed in the new season. But in Season 1, I was playing along when the number “B-4″ came out. The very next shot, when it went back to Patrick Duffy, “B-4″ was plainly visible INSIDE the hopper. If they can pick which numbers come down the chute for the regular game, GSN will be able to pick and choose who (if anyone) will get the $100,000 just by deciding to drop the right number. There’s no true randomness when it comes to the final ball. Or am I just way out in left field? (Which is entirely possible.)
Rick, I’m sure the Stempel Code would preclude that from EVER happening.
Can anyone post the numbers from 10/22? I missed the show because my father got hurt…
