Good news on the Bingo America front: the at-home contest is truly legit. I just got my $50 check in the mail today (I won on the premiere episode, 3/31. If only I won the next day…). If you won, too, it’s time to start looking for an envelope labeled “Promotional Consideration.”

How can “employees” close to GSN be able to play Bingo? That is puzzling.
Did you see who wrote this? It’s not Alex, it’s Nick Todor. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do not think he has anything to do with GSN in any way. Alex has pitched some stuff to GSN, but I don’t think he has any real connections to GSN either. I don’t know if he would be eligible, though.
Yeah, thanks Julia. That was Nick, one of our regular writers, writing this one. I’ve been out of commission with strep throat for the past few days except for a tiny thing here or there. Being doped up on medicine really made finals week interesting, let me tell you.
And hey, while I’m at it, I’ll clear up this little rumor. No, I don’t work for GSN. I’m pitching shows to them, I have good friends and acquaintances who work/have worked there, and it’s obvious if you read this site that GSN and this website in general are extremely friendly. However, I don’t work for them.
That being said I am ineligible because of my connection with the network and the production company. So here’s a lesson to all you people who want to start doing something like BuzzerBlog. It may be fun to get these connections but you can’t be on one single god damn game show, haha.
Nick, if you have an account on the GSN boards, could you PLEASE post it there? I’m sick of people creating accounts just to claim “this show is rigged”.
I’d say don’t post a thing on GSN’s boards. If they’re so dense as to think Bingo America is rigged or is a scam, have them whine and complain, and hopefully stop winning. I’d like to increase my chances at winning again, even if it’s only by a very small percentage. (Hopefully one of them sees this and gets their Underoos in a bundle. heheheheh)
I won on 4/11 and am still waiting for my money. Hopefully it’ll be here next week, as it seems the first week’s winners got their money this weekend.
What Mike said. Stay as far away from the GSN boards as possible. Even though this site has close ties to the network, I would hope that I do not get censored by making this post.
GSN’s message board people have to be the stupidest, illogical, horribly misinformed, and brain damaged people I have ever had the displeasure of running into. I swear, you deal with one unintelligent troll, you deal with them all. They are nothing more than internet trolls who are lacking the ability to make one bit of sense. I’m sure all their families are quite ashamed of how they turned out.
I must say that I have to agree with you all. Although I’ve played Bingo America for several weeks, and never won, I have never bitched or moaned about the game being rigged. For one thing, it’s Bingo; not everyone is going to win, and besides, only a handful of people win. I have read the GSN posts for a couple of days, and I must say, these people are foockled up in the head. They constantly argue with the Forum Admin. about the show, and sometimes, it makes me laugh. It’s like all of those people who post there spend their days on the computer crying and crying through posting weird s*** like this. If only they led better lives and had a couple of friends. If they think it’s rigged, they shouldn’t play anymore. It only increases the chance for everybody else. I’ll continue playing until I win, and when I do, I’ll jump up and down, scream, and babble like an idiot to my grandma who plays with me.
I think I finally decided to give it up. Bingo America could be the Best WORST show of 2008.
