Bill Engvall Rehearsing for ABC’s “Trust Me, I’m A Game Show Host”
More developments on the front of ABC’s new game show Trust Me, I’m A Game Show Host. Bill Engvall, star of his own TBS sitcom for three seasons and one of the Blue Collar Comics, has Tweeted that he is rehearsing for Mark Burnett’s new quiz show. This is the second Blue Collar Comic Burnett has gone to, the first being Jeff Foxworthy for Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? which is casting for its second syndicated season. The format of Trust Me calls for two hosts. If Bill Engvall is one of them, I’d expect another one of his Blue Collar friends to join in.
I’m not familiar with that stand up group at all, so who would you think or like to see in the other role?

Of that group, Jeff is doing 5th Grader, Larry the Cable Guy would be too big of a name to get, and Ron White is usually way too drunk.
I'm going out on a limb and saying Bill Engvall is one of the hosts and Cedric "the Entertainer" from the "Kings of Comedy" will be the other host. I would say Steve Harvey, but he's clearly gonna be busy with "Family Feud"…

I would love to see Walt Willey who plays Jackson Montgomery on "All My Children" and does stand up comedy. He would be humorous, handsome, witty and not so well known to be over used. PERFECT!!!
I can see Ced on the show, but I could also see former Saturday Night Live castmember Tim Meadows, who also played Bill Engvall's friend on The Bill Engvall Show, as the second host.

Ron White has pretty much distanced himself from the Blue Collar gang — he's also become more "blue" in his act, and that's tough to translate for a network show. A possible co-host that should be considered is actor/comedian Larry Miller, who specializes in playing staid, stuffy authority figures in his roles. Maybe it's me, but Miller would make a great yin to Engvall's yang.

I've actually heard Larry Miller is somehow involved with a different new game show.
