Betty White Visits GSN Live on Thursday; “Password Plus” Mini Marathon

OK, I’m finally caught up with emails with this one so no delayed news.  On Thursday, November 20th, GSN Live has a very special treat for all the viewers.  The queen of game shows, Betty White, will be making a very special appearance during the 3PM ET to 6PM ET block hosted by Fred Roggin and Kelly Packard, specifically 5PM ET.  She will be discussing her life, late husband Allen Ludden, and various game shows she’s participated in (most recently Million Dollar Password).

To celebrate her visit, GSN Live will be airing a mini marathon of Password Plus during that 3PM E to 6PM E block.  Episodes featured will be, according to the network:

#025. From 1979. Host: Allen Ludden. Celebrity Panelists: Betty White & Dick Martin. During show, Allen Ludden talks about meeting Betty White on Password in 1961.

#096. From 1979. Host: Allen Ludden. Celebrity Panelists: Betty White & John Phillip Law. At the beginning of the show Betty White and John Phillip Law pretend they are making out and act startled when Allen Ludden sees them.

#269. From 1979. Host: Allen Ludden. Celebrity Panelists: Betty White & Greg Morris. The episode was broadcast on Betty White’s birthday and they bring a birthday cake to her on set.

#270. From 1979. Host: Allen Ludden. Celebrity Panelists: Betty White & Greg Morris. Betty White helps a contestant win $5,000 in the bonus round.

#373. From 1980. Host: Allen Ludden. Celebrity Panelists: Betty White & John Astin. Many funny moments, including Betty White yelling “Tarzan” in response to a clue. 

#374. From 1980. Host: Allen Ludden. Celebrity Panelists: Betty White & John Astin. This show taped the day before Betty White & Allen Ludden’s 17th wedding anniversary. Allen Ludden wishes her a Happy Anniversary.
