Betty White Guests on “Wheel of Fortune” During Week of December 8th
Wheel of Fortune has a slew of special theme weeks coming up soon, and one in particular for game show fans. Starting off, the week of December 8th will be Pet Lover’s Week. All during that week, pictures of the contestants and their pets will be showcased. In addition to that, a $1,000 donation from the Petco Foundation to an animation charity will be awarded if a contestant picks up the Petco gift tag on the wheel. If you go to Wheel’s website, you can see some pictures of the cast and crew and their pets as well.
But here’s what I’m guessing most of you are interested in. The queen of game shows, Betty White, will make a special walk on sometime during the week. When? You’ll have to tune in to figure that out. Betty White, an animal rights activist, can also be seen on an upcoming episode of Million Dollar Password.
Watch out for two more theme weeks in January. Armed Forces Week and Teachers Week will be showcased then. And don’t forget that Wheel‘s $5K Every Day competition is going on!
Now you see, “Wheel Of Fortune” got it right by having Betty White on during animal lovers week – if they can get Betty, why didn’t the pin-heads who made up the Meow Mix cat crap get her as well? If Betty wasn’t too old for “Wheel”, then she shouldn’t be too old to host one Meow Mix show!
Because, DENo1MatchGameFan, GSN doesn’t know good PR publicity if it landed on their heads. Having been said, I think Wheel got it right as well. The Queen of Game Shows (AKA Mrs. Password) on the #1 game show in America (not to mention the world), a winning combination in my book.
Here’s my thought: yes, “that show” on GSN had to do with cats…which we all know Betty White loves. However, the concept of the show is enough to make anyone run for the hills. While I have no way of knowing, myself, I think that she could have been offered…but…well, you get the picture of what I think might have happened.
