“Don’t Forget the Lyrics” Renewed

Fox's newest show Don't Forget the Lyrics has been renewed by Fox for a full second season after only three nights on the air. While it has gotten some decent ratings, especially for Fox's standards, I'd say they're jumping the gun on this one. It's not really competition for The Singing Bee nor is it doing as well as it. No details will probably come for the second season until well...the first one is over. No air date has been announced although I would presume the reason for a quick renewal that for a Summer show, it's good to keep. So expect to see it in the Summer of 2008.

“Do You Trust Me?” Begins Casting

CBS's newest game show Do You Trust Me? most likely coming this fall, has begun casting. We kinda figured this would be a backstabbing game show, and it does seem to lead a road of deception, but it kinda sounds lame. Here is CBS's description for casting. "Are you a big character with a fascinating life story or a strange job? Are people constantly surprised to discover what you do for a living? Do you lead a sort of double life?" If you actually do fit this description, you may fill out an application at this link. No word on a specific airdate or host yet, however Tucker Carlson did host the pilot. When new details are out, BuzzerBlog will be sure to have them for you.
