It's a shame that they had to ax their best show to keep the rights to Millionaire. I hope this cancellation turns out to be more of a hiatus.

There has to be a way for the two Eds' quiz shows to peacefully coexist. Maybe Channel 9 could put "Millionaire" in "Family Feud"'s old spot, which I think might put it up against Channel 7's "Deal or No Deal". (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

Relax, this is like a local US station putting a show at 3a to keep the rights, they got something better, "temptation" but dont want another network (seven) to get Millionaire to go head to head.

I hope aussle millionaire stays the old way the new music does not fit the british show at all. They should atleast change the lighting or something on the set. It sounds like its from a cheap sterio

I like Temptation and millionaire i dont like the host of Temptation.

Two notes.

-The show isn't officially axed as they are still holding auditions. Melbourne are holding auditions today (21st Aug) at Channel Nine HQ.
-If Millionaire does bomb (and I say if as it's a very popular show down there), Temptation will not return in 2007. Channel Nine's procedure is to replace bombed shows with reruns featuring imported shows. When Sale was axed in 2001 it was replaced with a new quiz, namely Shafted. When that bombed, it was replaced with reruns of Frasier. When Family Feud was axed earlier this year, it's currently being replaced with reruns of UK shows Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt.

Maybe if Temptation comes back they'll rename it "$ale of the Century: The New Temptation." But 9 have their reason for canceling the show. I would like to see it go back to the classic shopping format.
