April Fool’s and NCAA Final Four Specials of “The Price is Right”

Two updates about The Price is Right and then some pictures for you.  First off, CBS just announced they will be having a special Showcase segment for the NCAA Final Four next week.  On Friday, April 2nd, Price will welcome four college cheer teams from Duke University, Michigan State University, Butler University and University of Kansas, who all will do pre-taped appearances, to assist in the Showcase.  One of the prizes will be a trip to the 2010 NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis.  Check that out next Friday, April 2nd, on CBS.

And finally, we previously discussed the April Fool’s Day special of The Price is Right going on next Thursday.  CBS put out a press release for it a bit ago and everything we had was correct.  Special guest Kathy Kinney will reprise her Mimi character for a second year in a row.  This year she will take over as executive producer of the show and mix things up, including very different models, replacing Rich Fields with a man in a monkey suit, and a unique way to identifying contestants.   CBS gave us some pictures of the special.  They’re below.  It looks like it’s going to be a really fun episode.
