Coming up in a few hours we’ll have a photo gallery of what looks to be Double Dare taken way too seriously: My Dad is Better Than Your Dad. But for now we have Dennis Miller’s new hosting vehicle, Amne$ia. What’s shocking is that the show is debuting in two weeks and not a thing is known about it beyond the basic idea of people answering questions about events that have happened in their life for money. Many people have been calling it a Moment of Truth ripoff, which I am guilty of too. Looks nothing like it, so it may be a bit more interesting that I guessed. Check out the pictures and the actual show which debuts on February 22nd at 9:00PM ET on NBC.

hmm… IMO, it looks like The Price is Right, but with your life instead of retail products. You know what I mean?
They both deal with personal questions about a person’s life…
Amnesia: Where did you go on your first date with your wife?
Truth: Did you buy a rental car on your first date, just to impress your wife? [Level 1]
=======
The difference seems to be, Mark is a better host than Dennis Miller from what I see in the previews of Ame$ia, but they seem to be more of “This is your life” rather than “Tell Your Personal Life Story in front of America”
I’ve got high hopes for this show — the biggest thing they can do right IMHO is to take each contestant and keep them for all the questions they have planned for that player. My big problem with Moment of Truth is that if a contestant bails or fails, the game is pretty much over and we don’t get to hear the rest of their “story”.
We have *A* question from YouTube.
“Which of these girls is wearing your wife’s wedding dress?”
So, basically, it’s Maury as a game show. :-P
