What's the news on Trust me?

  • Jordan says:

    APPLICATION QUESTIONS;
    Are you afraid of Heights?
    Have you ever bungee jumped?
Have you ever skydived, etc? If Yes, when and where

[CONFIRMED - A "PLUNGE" DOWN THE SKYSCRAPER.]

Please list your top 5 most prized possessions? (Please do not list friends or family)
Would you be willing to sacrifice any of your possessions to win a million dollars?

    [CONFIRMED - "TRASHED" STYLE ELIMINATIONS]

Who is the most important person in your life that you have lost touch with?

[CONFIRMED - DEAL OR NO DEAL STYLE SURPRISES]

If you could ask for help in playing DOWNFALL, who would you reach
out to and why? Please only list people who would appear on the show
that would be available for our June taping and that have the OK by you
for the shows producers to contact.

[DEAL OR NO DEAL SUPPORTERS CONFIRMED]

This has the makings of possibly the worst game show of the decade.

I hated "Trashed" to start with, and "Deal Or No Deal" has gone stale in the States. And I'm not a fan of bungee-jumping.

"Downfall" started out simple (answer questions or your money goes over the side of the building), then added a bunch of crap we didn't need. At all.

I'm glad that they specify not to list friends or family for the "Trashed" portion. If they had not included that line, THEN there would be no contest for "Worst Game Show EVER".

  • Alex says:

I've just read this over, and I've had a thought. They suggest both cash and prizes are up for offer, so what if, instead of the Trashed-style eliminations, they have temptations of prizes to leave the game (tailored towards the player, so if someone puts a TV in their list, the prize could be a bigger and better TV), which get dropped if they refuse?

    That might be interesting.

  • @palmercomm says:

I'm recording it, so it can't be that bad. This will probably have people screaming at the TV, something Mark Goodson would have wanted.

  • Nate says:

does anyone know how to be a part of the audience for tapings of this new series?
