A Public Apology to Former “Price is Right” Director Bart Eskander
This is Alex Davis. I want to make a very major retraction from a post left by substitute writer Cory Anotado on the subject of former director of The Price is Right Bart Eskander. The original information Cory published, taken from the Price is Right fan site Golden-Road.net, stated that Bart Eskander, the former director in question, was fired from The Price is Right. We have since learned that this is completely incorrect and that Mr. Eskander voluntarily left the show after 30 years of service. We have since removed this post, the comments, and all other false material pertaining to this.
I would publicly like to apologize to Mr. Eskander and anyone in his family this post may have hurt in any way and any damage it may have caused. We do our best to not trust any information placed on message boards without factual proof presented with it. This should not have been published without my personal permission and I am embarrassed that it happened. Actions are being taken to make sure this never happens again. Again, I publicly apologize for this post containing false information. It is embarrassing and shameful, and I deeply regret any hurt it may have caused the Eskander family or anyone involved.
ADDITIONAL APOLOGY FROM NICK TODOR: Every staff member gives his own style to the show, and now that Bart Eskander has moved on, it’s quite clear what the show is truly missing. I am sorry that I didn’t get the entire story before publishing, and I will never make this mistake again.
