GSN Radio’s “Blast of Cash” Begins Next Week
I just wanted to give all of you GSN Radio fans, which a large amount of you should be, a heads up and a reminder about certain goings-on next week. The program broadcasted from 1:00PM ET to 5:00PM ET every weekday and hosted by Bob Goen and Marianne Curan will kick off its "Blast of Cash" starting Monday, September 14th. The Blast of Cash increases the prize of games dramatically. Some of the marquis games, like the Birthday Game or the $1,000 Minute will up the top prize to a large $10,000. You have to go through a whole casting process, with low odds of even making it on the show let alone winning, to win that much on most shows. Here you just have to call in and play a game if you get the call back, and it's all for free. Bob Goen

Sorry for the delay in this post. We've been covering the season premieres so much we neglected to mention this. As you can probably tell from the image in the featured news player above, GSN's second season of The Newlywed Game is taping its second season in Los Angeles, instead of its original base in New York City. The show started taping on September 9th, and the next tapings are on September 15th. You can be in that audience. Either click this link to apply, thanks to our friends at Onset Productions, or click the image above. I raved about my experience on the set of Newlywed Game and I still stand by it. It was hysterical and just a lot of fun. I know I've said this before also but the show was edited to be so fast paced be

Two more game shows start their new seasons next week, on September 14th. Jeopardy! gets a new set which we saw for the Tournament of Champions this past season. Wheel of Fortune, now entering its 27th season, is getting a bigger change, though. The "Free Spin" space which has been on the wheel for as long as I can remember, has been replaced by the new wedge "Free Play". The press release we were sent lays out the rules: The wedge gives the contestant immunity on his or her first action. If he or she calls a letter that is not in the puzzle, calls a letter that has already been called or incorrectly tries to solve the puzzle, he or she will not lose a turn. It also allows contestants to call a vowel for free whether or not they have

I know it's not airing in some markets because of a variety Labor Day televised events but today is the debut of new seasons of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Family Feud, and Deal or No Deal. Deal really has little change at all, but Millionaire has the new Tournament of 10 and Feud has the car and Bullseye. I'm really curious as to what you all think. You can place any comments about the shows in this box. There may be some spoilers, so be careful to those who don't want to read them.

So, I was randomly searching YouTube, and I found this. To me, it looks like a combination of Remote Control and The Cube. It also looks more tailored to kids, but that's probably because it's a Nickelodeon show. Here's a few example games. BrainSurge premieres Monday, September 28th at 4:30pm ET.

Monday's a big day for all you game show fans. Three big fan favorites are starting their new seasons and each have some interesting changes to keep you hooked in. First we have the second season of Deal or No Deal. The show, as many know, moved to Connecticut for the new season but everything's apparently going to look the same. Same look, same game, and the same big prize of $500,000. No one won it last season, though some came close. We'll have to see about this season. No real giant twists are in the mix as far as I can tell but special theme weeks are being added like usual. Weeks of nurses, teachers, firefighters, and police officers will be present like last season, along with weeks of Halloween and Christmas shows. Unique t
