“Catch 21″ Reviews and New Phone Game
Catch 21 debuted on Monday, July 21st, on GSN, and so far it seems to be a positive start. However, I'm really curious to see what you thought of it. Be sure to leave your comments. It's a very fun show that could just use to loosen up a bit more. It's too stiff and rigid right now. Amusingly, as I'm looking around in various places and reading, the majority of complaints come from the really bizarre set change from front game to end game. It's a great solid effort that could really just use a bit of cleaning up. Cellufun and GSN have a fun way to get involved in the show as well. You can soon play GSN's new game show Catch 21 on your cell phone. Cellufun is teaming with Worldwinner who has a free flash version online, “This dea

Back in December we reported Mark L. Walberg was set to host Trivial Pursuit: America Plays. While true at the time, it looks like his contract with Fox may have gotten in the way of hosting this syndicated show coming September 22nd. There is a new name floating around. The Brady Bunch's Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) may be your new host. He's been in the spotlight lately after marrying model Adrienne Curry, with whom he was a contestant with on The Surreal Life. They currently have a reality show together on MTV called My Fair Brady. Anyways, enough Brady Bunch history for one post. I personally believe it, cause why actually have a game show hosted by a game show host. That's ridiculous these days, huh? Although I can see Knight doing

Season Seven of World Poker Tour is going to Fox Sports Network, or as known these days FSN. Season Six had aired on GSN, but as we reported, they lost the rights to the show. Long-time announcers Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patton will return to the show. Season VII shouldn't begin for awhile due to only two tournaments have been played so far, so no need to mark your calendars yet.

Tonight at 10:00PM ET sees the return of Gong Show on Comedy Central. It's hosted by Dave Attell, and you will see judges Brian Posehn, triumph the Insult Comic Dog, and Steve Schrippa and in the future will be Adam Carolla, Kate Walsh, Andy Dick, Ron White, Dave Navaro, Greg Giraldo, Jim Norton and JB Smoove. From the previews it looks to be a really entertaining show. I've noticed that we have a lot of advocates for family friendly non offensive television that roam these parts, so just be warned that it's going to be dirty. But hey, dirty humor is good in my book. Be sure to leave your review of it here.

Again, I'm gone until Monday and I really don't know when and if new updates will come in, it depends if the other writers have stuff. It not, we'll be posting portions of my favorite new show of the summer and, quite frankly, my favorite in years, ABC's Wipeout. It's extremely funny and miles better than Celebrity Family Feud is. Hope you enjoy.

Yes, I know the featured story player hasn't been updated in a bit. I don't have the current set up for it, the person that created the current version does, so there's not a ton I can do until he updates. However, if it's not done by the time I get back, I promise it'll be updated very early next week.

GSN needs a hit. Badly. How Much is Enough?, which I still feel bad about giving a remotely positive review about after just one episode, bombed. Bingo America is fine enough but obviously cares much more about the bingo players at home than the actual game, and that hurts the final product. Catch 21 has a long history with GSN. Pitched years ago under the title Casino, the network went back to it for some help. I have some good news: Catch 21 is actually really good and a lot of fun! Catch 21 is very simple. Each player is dealt one card face up. A question is asked, and the first player to buzz in with the right answer gets 100 points. A new card is shown, and that player can choose to keep that card or pass it off to another

Going on this week is the video game nerd's wet dream, E3, which is a huge video game expo where companies show off their new products and make major announcements. One of them that we were told about was Xbox Live Primetime, where you can play big online game shows against people in real time. One of which is NBC's middle child who keeps getting neglected no matter what ratings are, 1 VS 100. I think it may need mentioning that this isn't necessary new breaking news, and it still doesn't help the show's case for getting back on the air. Back in April, EA and Endemol were teaming for a new development called VirtualMe, where you could play shows like 1 VS 100, Deal or No Deal, and Big Brother in real time with avatars against each oth
