The stage is set and we’re ready to begin NBC’s Celebrity Family Feud. The set seems to be basically the same thing with a few minor updates, but I have no clear full pictures just yet. I’ll work on getting those. Here’s the list of families that will be competing to win [...]

Pretty exciting and fun news from the GSN camp today which is much better than a cat game show. GSN Live, the network’s daily live talk/interactive show during the commercials of some of your favorite classics, will be expanding to six hours starting on the week of July 28th. The show, hosted by Fred Roggin [...]

Ever read about one of those shows that makes you question humanity and makes you see if you have any easy way to remove your eyes lying around? I got a press release from representatives this weekend (sorry, I was out of town) about GSN partnering with Meow Mix to do a cat game [...]
Interesting GSN developments that continue in the line or eliminating everything under former CEO Rich Cronin. The broadcast rights to World Poker Tour expired on Sunday, leaving the long time poker show without a home currently. GSN CEO David Goldhill said, “The World Poker Tour has been a great partner and the show [...]

A representative from the new syndicated game show Trivial Pursuit: America Plays left a comment on our site (which I can verify of course) about a national “Question Tour” to get questions and teams for the new show. In Trivial Pursuit, all questions are submitted by home viewers and if “America’s Team” wins the [...]

Edit: I really didn’t think this would be that big of a deal, but 5:30 is still Richard Karn’s Family Feud. If I didn’t write about a change in that specific time slot, it’s the original one. It’s kind of stupid to have Karn Feud/Chain Reaction/Karn Feud though, isn’t it?
GSN’s doing a major schedule shuffle [...]

EDIT: Since it’s being possible this is construed in a different way, I’ll just note right now that no, I obviously don’t think Sony’s shows are bad. I loved Russian Roulette and Power of 10, Jeopardy! is great, Wheel of Fortune is a bit flashy but still good, and Pyramid was a bit too [...]

Here it is: the final part of Sunday’s Dutch Deal or No Deal called Miljoenenjacht. It’s an extremely exciting finish so take a look and if you have any comments, as always, feel free to leave them.

OK, we got the introduction over with. Here are the really exciting parts. Here is part two of last Sunday’s Dutch Deal or No Deal. I wouldn’t put it up here if it wasn’t an exciting/depressing/memorable/sad episode in some way, [...]
ABC’s website says that Mike Greenberg, sans pen, returns to the airwaves with previously unaired episodes starting Friday, June 27 at 9/8c. Prediction: It gets better ratings than “Wipeout” or “Japanese Game Show.”

Usually we’d keep the video episodes under weekends, but this one’s rather exciting so I had to put it up today. I’ve said it before, but my favorite version of Deal or No Deal is the original Dutch version Miljoenenjacht. It’s [...]
After months of waiting I can finally make it official: The Newlywed Game and The Dating Game are going to GSN. Our good friends at Embassy Row asked us to put some notices about casting for The Dating Game andThe Newlywed Game, revivals of two popular classic game shows. These shows were originally rumored to be on Lifetime. If you want [...]

The new syndicated season is really sneaking up on us and for the second year in a row, we have two new shows coming in addition to a whole load of returning ones. Here’s the list so far.
*Deal or No Deal: September 8th
*Who Wants to be a Millionaire?: September 8th
*Jeopardy!: September 8th
*Wheel of Fortune: [...]
I’m telling you, one of the best features about Wordpress’s update is the easy automatic posting feature. I’m on vacation this week, so all these posts were written days ago and should be appearing now. And if you haven’t noticed we have a new page for ABC’s revival of what will be this [...]
Good news for Million Dollar Password fans: the show’s did very well in its first outing. It scored a 6.8/12 which is a pretty nice success story to them. Let’s see how ratings hold up as the show progresses, though. Again, I don’t think the game is that bad. The presentation is [...]
