GSN will be doing its traditional New Year’s Eve duty on Monday, December 31st, with it’s relatively regular marathon of Dick Clark’s The $100,000 Pyramid. Eight hours of the favorite will be seen starting at 12PM ET. Dick Clark announced that he will also be returning to ABC’s New Year’s countdown, so be [...]
It’s finals week, so bear with me as I freak the hell out every moment and forget to post some things. I’m sure many of you are going through the same thing. Cramming five comprehensive exams in four days is absolutely insane. Regardless, the ratings are updated. It’s up-up-up for the the shows that deserve [...]
Congratulations, NBC. You have officially screwed 1 VS 100, which was at one point a fantastic show. You’ve now made it into Who Wants to be a Millionaire + 100 Other People Who Wants to Answer Questions As Well. A Mob member has informed us of some of the rule changes. Gone is the idea [...]
Can someone tell me what is with some form of a recent Bingo craze recently? ABC just got rid of their god awful Bingo game show, and now GSN is getting into the act. GSN’s casting for their new game show Bingo America, which combines trivia and Bingo, and of course they want [...]
FOX’s hit game show, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, is proving to be a bit more successful than competitor The Singing Bee, as FOX’s karaoke show has been renewed for 13 episodes. The Wayne Brady hosted million dollar game show airs on Thursdays at 9PM ET with encores on Friday at 8PM ET.
Before you get excited, it’s not the old version. ABC has ordered a pilot of a new game show called Wipeout. It’s another Endemol show, but this time for $50,000. Essentially it’s being called Fear Factor without the gross, as fifty players compete on the world’s biggest obstacle course.

Let’s start with Deal or No Deal’s schedule change. You know NBC couldn’t resist putting the show on twice a week, didn’t you? Deal or No Deal will be seen on Mondays at 9PM ET starting on January 7, 2008. It follows American Gladiators. Deal will still be seen on Wednesdays [...]

Yet another show is getting into the giving mood for Christmas. CBS is going to auction off some of the pieces of the old The Price is Right set, Bob Barker not included (sorry, fans). The only auction will go to benefit The Paley Center for Media. Proceeds from the auction will [...]
Cable networks are now getting into the game show frenzy. TLC is casting for a new family game show titled as of now, fittingly, Family Game Show. They really paid their writers overtime for this one, didn’t they? It does involve some pop culture trivia apparently at least. If you’d like to apply, click here.
Shokus Internet Radio is planning a special treat for game show fans on December 18th: an all-star big money winner edition of the internet radio game show Anyone Can Win hosted by Larry Anderson. Competing on the show are big winners Ken Jennings, Nancy Christy, Kevin Olmstead, and Ed Toutant. These champions will compete in [...]
We usually don’t cover much reality, but I got a call from my mom this weekend. Apparently the reality show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition went to her city in West Virginia. She went on the first day as a volunteer, and it was the most miserable experience of her life. She recently [...]

Game show fans who have the way overpriced and overrated Microsoft XBox (sorry, I’m not a Microsoft fan of anything) can be on the lookout for new Crosswords games for XBox Live and 360, and also the Playstation 2 if anyone cares about that thing anymore. Program Partners licensed the game to the THQ brand [...]
We restarted the ratings page, and we only have syndication ratings for today. Good news though. We included Family Feud ratings now! Thanks for the responses on the survey, ladies and gentlemen. We made our first change in response to the surveys: we found out how to remove the Firefox banner. That should make it [...]
Rejoice survey fans! One of my favorites, Power of 10, is coming back with a new string of episodes starting on January 2nd in its old time slot: Wednesday at 8PM Et. It’ll last until February 13th when Please Let Someone Have Sex on Camera 9, er, Big Brother launches its new season. I was [...]

Horribly cheesy title aside, GSN is going to be making some classic fans very happy on Christmas by airing two classic marathons on the 24th and 25th. On December 24th will be Card Sharks featuring episodes from both the Jim Perry and Bob Eubanks eras of the show. It starts at 9AM ET and goes [...]
