This season has been a season of very short runs for shows that aren't doing that well. ABC's wish fulfillment show, The Great American Dream Vote has been canceled after two episodes. It was so close to being tied with a show that didn't deserve to be canceled, The Rich List, which lasted one episode. Of course ABC is saying it can come back, but we'll believe it when we see it. Hey, Name That Tune fans: it clears Donny Osmond up for that show again at least. Donny Osmond, host of Dream Vote, is also hosting Pyramid in England, where they seem to have fixed many things, like allowing returning contestants (If you climb the Pyramid twice in one show) plus 7 in 30, and we've heard the show is quite good period. Now why couldn't we get

It's official now: GSN today announced the pickup of a new word game "Camouflage". From Disney, the show is a game of word games, clues, and hidden answers and is going to have a 40 episode season. No word on a host yet. The show is set to begin production in May and will debut sometime in July. The show will give a clue a-la "Scrabble" (the TV version) that requires an answer that is hidden by a group of needless letters. If you read it left to right you can see the word, though. Letters will drop out as time goes on, but at the same time the point value does, so you have to be quick. For example, one puzzle word might be "LAPTOPICFLOORING," with the clue "kitchen explosive." Dropping the appropriate letters and reading left to righ

Just a quickie about "National Bingo Night." The show will take place in the "Bingo Plex Arena," which features a two-story tumbler. Also, the format looks to be VERY similar to 1 vs 100: one person will be pitted against the audience. If the player gets a BINGO before the audience, he or she wins the money. If ONE person in the audience gets BINGO first, the audience wins the money. More information is available on the ABC webpage. Looks like ABC has some big balls on their hands.

The show revolves around seven contestants identifying their opponent's salaries. Contestants that can do this win $25,000. Clues will be given to further them along based on pop culture, observations about their opponents, surprising and revealing "factoids" about the others, and their own intuition. Bravo's only popular game show is Celebrity Poker Showdown which is apparently and regretfully canceled, although they did air one episode of Celebrity Pool. We can't 100% confirm it just yet, but we're hearing from people connected to GSN that "Camouflage" has been picked up. "Camouflage" was one of the shows announced for development during the Television Critics Associated event. From Buena Vista Productions, this fast paced word game makes contestants find hidden words from a word puzzle, but there are extra letters in it. For instance, if you are given BRAINCHUORIC and the clue is “Newsperson”, reading the puzzle left to right reveals the word “ANCHOR” when you say it. Even more, we're hearing it is going to tape from the beginning of April to the end of May. Once more official information comes in we will tell you.
