Brad Rutter Joins “1 vs. 100″ Mob

If you never had a reason to feel bad for the One on “1 vs. 100″, now you have it. Brad Rutter is joining the mob. If you don’t know, Brad Rutter won over $3,000,000 on “Jeopardy!” and defeated Ken Jennings in the Ultimate Tournament of Champions, so if you go on “1 vs 100″ and you are up against him, dash away that hope at a million. However, with the tricky writing and quick time frame, could he be gone sooner than we think?

We have gotten reports that, along with Tom Bergeron from “Dancing With the Stars” and “Hollywood Squares”, Al Roker has been a guest host on the syndicated version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”. According to reports from audience members, the episodes will air in the beginning of the summer, but this may change.

“I’ve Got A Secret” Cancelled

I just got done talking to a panel member on the show “I’ve Got A Secret”, currently on at 9;30PM ET on GSN, and she stated that in October, GSN decided not to make any more episodes, so unless some freakish reversal order comes in it’s officially cancelled. It’s a true shame in my eyes, as I thought it was incredibly funny and entertaining. It also scored very nice ratings (at GSN standards) at the 11:30PM ET time slot, seeing ratings in the .3-.4.

Edit: I completely forgot that “Anything to Win” had scores in that area, with the Tanya Harding episode earning a .7.

“Show Me the Money” Sinks 3 Weeks in a Row

For the third week in a row, “Show Me the Money” on ABC went down in ratings. The William Shatner fronted game show, which TVGuide called a ripoff of “Deal or No Deal” recently (Even though I think it’s more of a ripoff of the foreign show “Take It or Leave It” just dumbed down) scored a 5.2/8, which went down only in shares this week, which is not that great either. The show was 4th place, only beating “America’s Next Top Model” which scored a 4.0/6, all according to Zap2It. If it means anything to anyone else also, “Show Me the Money” placed last in the key demographic of 18-49. Ratings are a tiny bit fuzzy right now, but we’ll update this tomorrow once everything is more concrete.

NBC released their midseason schedule shuffle today, and Deal or No Deal is moving to Wednesday nights at 9 PM EST. We don’t know exactly when this change should happen, though.
NOTE: 1 vs. 100 will still be on Fridays at 8 PM EST.

Correction About MTV Game Shows

I have a tiny correction about the MTV game show I talked about before. A bit ago, I mentioned MTV looking for models for a game “Top Model”. That was false, and they are looking for models for the game show discussed a long time ago called “IQ”. Also now casting is a show called “Cred”, which is looking for while guys and ladies who think they know the hip hop world.
