“1 vs. 100″ Casts Again
Since it's debut, we've gotten a lot of requests about becoming a contestant: here is your chance. "1 vs. 100" is casting again for The One and Mob members. If you'd like to try to win a million dollars, please click the link below. Here's the main thing why I cannot take a lot of trivia shows seriously anymore, though. They say they want smart people, but you have to submit two pictures of yourself, just to make sure you're pretty enough for the camera. I'm not as big as other people on getting to know the contestants completely (I watch a show for the game), but wasn't the fact that anyone in America could play part of the magic of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" Follow-up on Chain Reaction Renewal
I got way more responses than I figured I would, so I'd like to post this again. If you could make some changes to GSN's "Chain Reaction", since a majority of the game show fanbase does not like it apparently, what would you do? We'll post the best suggestions we get here, and maybe combine them to make sense into Buzzer's "Chain Reaction". We do have people like GSN and Embassy Row read Buzzer, so this could make a difference, readers. So, again, if you have any more suggestions beyond raising the prize money to giant amounts that you know GSN will never give away, what would you do? NBC Picks Up “Child’s Play”
I think Zap2It said it best when it's not too late for NBC to change their name to "Game Show Network" since the cable network does not go by that anymore. As of now, Craigslist is reporting that NBC has picked up "Child's Play" and is still looking for kids to participate. So, are you 6-9, reading this site somehow, and don't want to be paid for being on a TV set for what will most likely be a five hour taping for one episode? Click below. So let's see. NBC has "Child's Play" coming and it has been said that Reveille is making "Identity", which is still casting as well, for them. Let's map the name changes: 1- Show Me The Money 2- Show Me What You've Got 3- Show me What You Got 4- Show Me the Money 5- One For the Money As of today, it's back to "Show Me the Money". Anyway, "Show Me the Money" debuts on Wednesday, November 22nd, at 8PM ET on ABC. In "Show Me the Money" contestants will have to play a game of skill, strategy, knowledge, and luck, using cubes to add or subtract their bank roll by a random amount in round one. NBC Cuts Thursday “Deal or No Deal”
Thank god, NBC finally got the hint. NBCUMV sent me a press release when I was sleeping apparently, and it states that the Thursday 9PM episode of "Deal or No Deal" is being replaced by two very funny shows: "Scrubs" and "30Rock". So as it stands, we only have the Monday episode of "Deal or No Deal", which is pulling in terrific ratings. "Deal", NBC's number one rated show of last week, pulled in a 9.7/15. As if anyone wants my opinion, but here's my suggestion: Move around the Friday lineup. That game show block of "Deal or No Deal" and "1 vs. 100" seems to be extremely strong and popular, so I think it would be smartest to stick with that. I can't believe it. GSN's original game show "Chain Reaction" has been renewed for a second season and is currently looking for contestants, according to Craigslist. So, want to compete? TBS Looks For New Text-In-And-Win Show
Cynposis is reporting that after the test run of "Midnight Money Madness" (and madness it was), TBS is enterting development talks with Endemol to create a new show that will air earlier than midnight. No word on anything yet whatsoever. Let's see if they can come up with something interesting and original for a change. I'm kind of doubting it, though.
