There were quite a few changes from the last series of “1 vs. 100″. If anyone missed it, here they are.

1- New money chain. It’s $1,000 + $1,000 for each new level all the way to $10,000.

2- You are FORCED to play the THREE $1,000 level questions before you can stop. You are also FORCED to play TWO $2,000 level questions before you can stop. You can stop after each question after that point.

3- There are three helps now. “Poll the Mob”, which is the same as last season where you select an answer, everyone from the mob who answered that is lit up and you can ask one person why they chose that. “Ask the Mob”, which is the same as last season where two people are randomly selected: one has the right answer and one has the wrong answer. You can ask each why they chose that answer, and this basically eliminates the 3rd answer. The new one is “Trust the Mob”, where you are FORCED to go with the mob’s most popular answer no matter what. You can choose which escape you’d like to use at any time; you don’t have to go in a certain order.

4- The graphics package got a much needed update, and everything looks crisp. The lighting was updated as well, along with having new consoles for the mob to answer and mics on each desk of the mob.

I like the new rules a lot, to be honest. We can get all the dumb people out of the way during the first 5 questions, because, as it was shown last night, the questions get quite a bit tougher at the $3,000/$4,000 level. My main issue this time was with Bob Saget. My lord, did he have to YELL AT EVERY SINGLE THING? I was mocking him a bit up at the top where I said forced in caps every time. It sounded like he was Richard Simmons. He needs to severely tone it down. He was fine last season. All in all, a very nice and welcomed return.
